What are the primary differences between LAUNDRY SAVER™, CITRUS SOLUTION™ and PRO CONTRACTORS’ SOLVENT™? +

LAUNDRY SAVER will remove much of what CITRUS SOLUTION removes but targets more specific protein, grease, oil, mustard and even baby-related stains.

CITRUS SOLUTION and LAUNDRY SAVER are wonderful complements to each other as they collectively remove over 95% of the tougher household and laundry stains you may encounter...EVEN OUT OF THE DRYER.

CITRUS SOLUTION is better suited for everyday icky, sticky, gooey, oily, waxy, household-related challenges on skin, clothing, carpet and upholstery. It has more rinsability (which helps when used on laundry) and doesn’t usually require a soap and water rinse like similar products. It also removes A LOT MORE challenges such as pasta sauces, fresh paints and stains and even bug residue.

PRO CONTRACTORS’ SOLVENT is a stronger version of CITRUS SOLUTION and removes even tougher challenges including caulk, cured silicone, water seal, roofing tar, asphalt and fresh expanding insulation foam.

Can I use LAUNDRY SAVER on carpet and upholstery? +

YES. LAUNDRY SAVER is safe on most water tolerant and colorfast fabrics including carpet and upholstery. We recommend testing LAUNDRY SAVER in an inconspicuous area first before wider use.

Can I use LAUNDRY SAVER as a prewash? +

Absolutely. While LAUNDRY SAVER was originally developed to save clothing and other “ruined” items after they emerged from the dryer, many satisfied customers have transitioned LAUNDRY SAVER to their prewash of choice over the years. Equally, we’ve received thousands of testimonials from satisfied customers who let us know they don’t worry about missing stains since LAUNDRY SAVER will remove them EVEN OUT OF THE DRYER.

Can I pour LAUNDRY SAVER in with my detergent? +

We recommend spraying LAUNDRY SAVER directly on to the stained area and let it get a head start before starting your wash load. Some users prefer to apply LAUNDRY SAVER on the stained area then rinse it out in their laundry sink, then reapply it before tossing into the wash load.

We don’t recommend, however, using LAUNDRY SAVER in the same load as bleach or OXY detergents.
