What are the primary differences between CONTRACTORS SOLVENT and CONTRACTORS CLEANER DEGREASER? +

PRO CONTRACTORS’ SOLVENT is a stronger version of CITRUS SOLUTION and removes even tougher challenges including caulk, cured silicone, water seal, roofing tar, asphalt and fresh expanding insulation foam.

CONTRACTORS CLEANER DEGREASER is a versatile, all purpose, AND POWERFUL cleaner and degreaser that removes much of what PRO CONTRACTORS SOLVENT removes (WITH LONGER DWELL TIME on cured challenges). Additionally, PRO CONTRACTORS CLEANER DEGREASER removes ink, magnesium chloride and many other tough challenges.

Can I use CONTRACTORS CLEANER DEGREASER on my vehicle and equipment without damaging the finish? +

YES. CONTRACTORS CLEANER DEGREASER will not harm dry paint or clear-coat finishes. This product is an excellent wax remover so after removing asphalt, grease and tar, you may want to rewax your vehicle. To clean interior stains, use the instructions for carpeting and upholstery. CONTRACTORS CLEANER DEGREASER may also be used on vinyl and non-tinted glass since tint is usually applied with adhesive. Be sure to wash CONTRACTORS CLEANER DEGREASER off vinyl and rubber surfaces after use.

Can I use CONTRACTORS CLEANER DEGREASER on dry paint? +

Yes, CONTRACTORS CLEANER DEGREASER is safe to use on dry painted surfaces, automobiles, hands, clothes and most surfaces. Read the directions for additional surface cautions.

Can I use CONTRACTORS CLEANER DEGREASER on heated surfaces such as engines or hot equipment? +

YES, however, with all cleaners we recommend surfaces be cool to the touch before applying them, even CONTRACTORS CLEANER DEGREASER. It can be sprayed, wiped or applied with a pressure sprayer easily and effectively.
